What is Korean Studies?

Korean Studies is a specialized major within the Oriental Studies program at Yersin University, Da Lat. This major equips students with knowledge and skills in the Korean language, enabling them to apply these in various fields such as economics, trade, import-export, tourism, and cultural studies. Students will also gain insights into Korean culture, customs, and society.

South Korea is not only one of Vietnam’s leading economic partners but also a country with strong cultural appeal, including its lifestyle, people, arts, cuisine, tourism, Hallyu wave, and K-pop. For these reasons, Korean Studies has become a popular choice among Vietnamese youth.
