Recently, Yersin University of Da Lat officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Thailand. This marks another significant step in YersinUni’s journey toward expanding international collaboration and creating more global learning opportunities for Yersiners.
Representing YersinUni, Dr. Nguyễn Vĩ Thông – Head of the Office of Scientific Research and International Cooperation, and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Oriental Studies – along with the university delegation, held an in-depth working session with Prof. Dr. Wipavee Usaha, Director of the Center for International Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anchalee Wannarak, Dean of the School of Social Technology, and other SUT leaders.
The two institutions agreed to promote collaboration in the following areas:
Student internship and field trip exchanges in Thailand;
Faculty academic exchange and scientific research cooperation;
Co-organization of international conferences.
Currently, two lecturers from YersinUni’s Faculty of Foreign Languages and Oriental Studies: Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Long Hải and Ms. Lê Thị Diệu Duyên are PhD candidates in English Language Studies at SUT. This stands as a testament to the strong academic ties between the two universities.
This MOU opens up new opportunities to enhance training quality, scientific research, and provide ideal international destinations for Yersiners in their academic and career development journey.
