YersinUni connects with over 200 businesses, “opening doors” to job opportunities for students
07/10/2024

When choosing a major and university, most high school students prioritize job prospects and often worry about employment opportunities after graduation.

With the goal of “Job Ready – Learning for Future Careers,” Yersin University of Dalat has been one of the pioneers in Vietnam in implementing the “Enterprise Semester” model. The university collaborates closely with a network of over 200 domestic and international businesses and organizations, creating abundant internship and employment opportunities for students while they are still in school.

Beyond mere company visits and internships, YersinUni has established deep professional ties with businesses in training, scientific research, and job placement for graduates. Below are some key aspects of its practical, career-oriented education model:

  1. Students experience three full enterprise internship semesters

Instead of a single internship in the final year, YersinUni introduces “Enterprise Semesters” starting from the first year and continuing throughout the students’ studies.

Early internships provide students with a comprehensive and multidimensional view of their careers, helping them identify the knowledge and skills they will apply in the future. Additionally, long-term internships make learning more engaging by integrating real-world business activities. Each internship semester lasts 3–4 months, meaning that by graduation, YersinUni students will have gained 9–12 months of real work experience.

  1. Internships at over 200 prestigious corporations, businesses, and partners

Interning at reputable companies helps raise YersinUni students’ professional standards. For example:

  • Hospitality Management students gain hands-on experience at TTC Hotel – Ngoc Lan, TTC Hotel – Michelia, and Amanoi Ninh Thuan (a 6-star resort).
  • Nursing students intern at University Medical Center HCMC.
  • Business and Economics students complete internships at TTC Group’s affiliated enterprises.

These experiences also expand students’ professional networks, giving them a competitive edge when entering the workforce.

  1. International internship opportunities during studies

Although the university is based in Dalat, YersinUni students have the opportunity to study and intern globally. The university enhances international exposure through “Overseas Semesters” in countries such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia.

  • Students from majors such as Nursing, Japanese Studies, Hospitality Management, Food Technology, and Automotive Engineering can participate in 6–12 month internships in Japan, earning 12–18 million VND per month.

  1. Hands-on skill development at enterprises

Through Enterprise Semesters, YersinUni students not only gain technical expertise but also refine essential soft skills such as presentation skills, time management, and teamwork. This approach helps students visualize their future career paths, choose specialized fields, and shape their professional direction early on.

Beyond these advantages, YersinUni is also a business-affiliated university (operating under TTC Group). This strong connection provides students with abundant internship, employment, and career advancement opportunities upon graduation.

At Yersin University of Dalat, students thrive in a dynamic, application-oriented learning environment  – where graduates are well-prepared to achieve success and shape their future.
