Yersin University of Da Lat has just wrapped up the program “Yersin Welcome Day 2025”, the annual event to warmly welcome freshmen of Cohort 22 into the YersinUni family. This is a yearly tradition that offers a space for exchange, learning and connection, helping new students find companions for their university journey.

At the event, Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn – Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice-Rector of Yersin University, presented certificates of merit and awards to the top-scoring freshmen across disciplines, recognizing their outstanding academic achievements.

The day kicked off with activities from more than 20 Clubs – Teams – Groups under the YersinUni Youth Union & Students’ Association, alongside unique food booths hosted by various faculties, creating a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. The program continued with the “Welcome Night”, where the stage came alive with artistic performances by lecturers and senior students.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of 10 outstanding class leaders and 10 exemplary Youth Union – Students’ Association leaders for the academic year 2024–2025. The Special Prize of the mini-game “Lucky Spin”, a brand new Surface Pro 11 worth nearly 30 million VND, was awarded to student Nguyễn Anh Pháp from Pharmacy Class K22.

“Yersin Welcome Day 2025” is not only the beginning of a university journey but also a celebration of unity, ambition, and confidence in the new generation of Yersiners – the future Global Citizens.
