Yersin University of Da Lat and Konkuk University (South Korea) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), opening up more opportunities for cooperation in higher education, scientific research, and academic exchange between the two universities.
Konkuk University is one of the reputable higher education institutions in South Korea, with strengths in education, scientific research, and international cooperation. Establishing a partnership with YersinUni helps expand the academic environment, creating opportunities for lecturers, scientists, and students from both universities to strengthen connections, share knowledge and experience, and grow together.
Under the MOU, the two universities agreed to promote cooperation in various areas, focusing on:
- Faculty and student exchange;
- Exchange of academic data, materials, and information;
- Scientific research cooperation;
- Organization of forums, conferences, and academic activities;
- Strengthening professional exchange and sharing knowledge and experience.
At YersinUni, scientific research, entrepreneurship, and innovation are also identified as important pillars of its educational orientation, helping students develop creative thinking, research skills, and the ability to solve practical problems. Demonstrating the spirit of “dare to conduct research – dare to innovate – dare to start a business,” YersinUni students have achieved many outstanding results in academic and innovation competitions, including First Prize at the Euréka Student Scientific Research Awards; Second and Third Prizes in the “Students with Startup Ideas” competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training; as well as high achievements in provincial Techfest competitions over the years and many other awards in scientific research and technical innovation.
The partnership with Konkuk University continues to open more opportunities for scientific research, entrepreneurship, innovation, and international integration for Yersiners, creating an environment where students can access new knowledge, connect with international peers, participate in research and academic activities, and confidently develop their abilities on their journey to becoming “Global Citizens.”
