On October 1, 2025, Yersin University of Da Lat, a member of TTC Group, solemnly organized the Ceremony of Receiving the Third-Class Labor Medal and the Opening Ceremony of the 2025–2026 Academic Year.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of: Mr. Bùi Thắng – Deputy Secretary of Lâm Đồng Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Minh – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Lâm Đồng People’s Committee; Dr. Phạm Xuân Hậu – Former Deputy Director, Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Education and Training; along with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and other Departments, Boards, and Agencies of Lâm Đồng Province.

From TTC Group: Mrs. Huỳnh Bích Ngọc – Executive Vice Chairwoman, CEO of TTC Group; Mr. Nguyễn Lê Hùng – Chairman and CEO of TTC International Education Corporation. In addition, the ceremony was also attended by enterprises, partners, scholarship sponsors, together with the entire staff, faculty, and students of the University.

At the ceremony, leaders of Lâm Đồng Province presented Yersin University of Da Lat with the Third-Class Labor Medal and the Certificate of Merit from the State President, in recognition of the University’s important contributions to human resource training in Lâm Đồng Province, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

The Third-Class Labor Medal is a prestigious award, marking more than 21 years of continuous innovation, creativity, and dedication of the University. During this journey, Yersin University of Da Lat has become a reputable educational institution in the Central Highlands in particular and across the country in general, with many outstanding achievements such as:

• More than 15,000 students have graduated;
• 97% of students find employment within 6 months of graduation, with some majors reaching 100%;
• 6% of alumni are leaders and managers; 3% are successful entrepreneurs;
• Awarded the Golden Symbol of Vietnam Human Resources;
• Yersin students have always led national student movements: Champion of “Student 2012”; Third Prize in “Talented Students 2013”; Top 6 in the Final Round of Vietnam’s Got Talent 2016; Second Prize in Regional Student Competition 2016; Runner-up in the National Final Student Competition 2021–2022…
• Students of the University have won many prizes in scientific research and innovation such as: First Prize in Provincial Startup Competitions; Eureka Awards; Third Prize in the National Student Startup Ideas Competition 2024, and Second and Third Prizes in 2025 organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Top 8 of the “Next Generation Students” competition 2025 (ongoing)…
• Completion of Cycle 2 Institutional Accreditation (2025–2030) with 14 out of 18 programs accredited by the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the same time, leaders of Lâm Đồng Province presented the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn, Vice Rector of Yersin University of Da Lat, for his excellent achievements in education and human resource development in Lâm Đồng Province, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Mr. Nguyễn Minh – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Lâm Đồng People’s Committee, presented the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn, Vice Rector of Yersin University of Da Lat.

Also at the ceremony, Dr. Phạm Đình Trung – Rector of the University emphasized:

“21 years – a journey deeply marked by important milestones, associated with many generations of staff, faculty, and students of the University. On this occasion of receiving the noble award from the State President, allow me, on behalf of all generations of staff, faculty, and students, to express our gratitude to the founders, the teachers, staff across different periods, and affirm our determination to build the University into an institution that trains high-quality human resources capable of integration in the new context of the country and the world.”

Dr. Phạm Đình Trung – Rector of Yersin University of Da Lat delivered his speech and struck the ceremonial drum to inaugurate the 2025–2026 academic year.

Mr. Nguyễn Minh – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Lâm Đồng People’s Committee, said:

“I would like to extend my congratulations to generations of leaders, staff, teachers, and students of the University on the honor of receiving the Third-Class Labor Medal awarded by the State President. This Medal is evidence of the relentless efforts and great contributions to education, scientific research, community service, and the educational development of Lâm Đồng Province.”

For the academic year 2025–2026, Yersin University of Da Lat welcomes nearly 1,400 freshmen. On this occasion, the University awarded 218 scholarships to students worth over 2 billion VND, with sponsorship from TTC Group’s member companies and external partners such as the French NGO L’Appel; BIDV Bank; Tenshi Dental Clinic; Thanh Quang Co., Ltd., and others.

Mr. Nicolas – Representative of L’Appel Organization and Mrs. Huỳnh Bích Ngọc – Executive Vice Chairwoman and CEO of TTC Group presented scholarships to students.

Mr. Nguyễn Lê Hùng – Chairman and CEO of TTC International Education Corporation and Mrs. Trương Thị Kim Phượng – Deputy CEO of TTC International Education Corporation presented scholarships to students.

Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn – Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University, presented flowers and letters of appreciation to the sponsors of scholarships for the academic year 2025–2026.

The ceremony also included the presentation of the University’s Traditional Flag.

Student Lê Quang Tuấn Kiệt – Medicine major, top incoming freshman of the University, delivered a speech on behalf of the new students.
