I. Objectives and Training Format
1. Training Objectives
The Master’s program aims to help students supplement, update, and enhance their knowledge in their field of study; strengthen interdisciplinary knowledge; develop expertise in a specific scientific area; and apply this knowledge to professional practice. Graduates will be capable of independent work, creative thinking, and problem-solving within their discipline.
2. Training Format and Duration
- Format: Full-time study.
- Duration: 1.5 – 2 years (classes held on Saturdays and Sundays).
3. Training Location
Yersin University of Da Lat – 27 Tôn Thất Tùng, Ward 8, Da Lat City.

- Evaluation-based admission or a combination of examination and evaluation-based admission.
III. Eligibility and Admission Requirements
1. Eligible Candidates
Candidates who have graduated or have met the requirements for a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent or higher) in a relevant field.
- Candidates with closely related or different undergraduate backgrounds must complete a supplementary knowledge program organized by Yersin University of Da Lat before admission.
- A list of eligible, closely related, and different fields and required supplementary courses is provided in the appendix of this announcement.
Current undergraduate students at Yersin University of Da Lat with a GPA classified as “Good” or higher may register for up to 15 credits from the Master’s program before official admission. These credits will be recognized if:
- They meet the learning outcomes, faculty requirements, workload, and other academic standards of the Master’s program.
- The grade obtained is at least C (or an equivalent conversion score).
- The coursework is completed within five years prior to formal recognition.
2. Admission Requirements
Candidates must meet the foreign language proficiency requirement through one of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a foreign language OR a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from a program primarily conducted in a foreign language.
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) issued by Yersin University of Da Lat within the last two years, with an English proficiency level of Level 3 or higher according to Vietnam’s 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework.
- A valid foreign language certificate equivalent to Level 3 or higher according to Vietnam’s 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework, as listed in the appendix of this announcement or as recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Candidates who do not meet the above requirements must take a foreign language proficiency test (Level 3 or higher), conducted by Yersin University of Da Lat.
IV. Application Documents

- Certified copies of bachelor’s degree and academic transcript.
- Foreign language certificate or diploma.
- Personal resume, verified by the applicant’s employer or local authorities (Download HERE).
- Medical certificate issued by a general hospital.
- Four (4) passport-sized (3×4 cm) photos (taken within the last 6 months, with full name, date of birth, and registered program written on the back).
All documents should be placed in a sealed application envelope, labeled with the applicant’s full name, address, and contact number.
