Yersin University of Da Lat has officially wrapped up its “Yersin Welcome Day 2026”, a special celebration welcoming Cohort 23 into the YersinUni family. This annual event brought opportunities to meet, experience and connect, marking the very first milestone on an exciting university journey for all our freshmen.
The event kicked off in the early morning, when Cohort 23 joined in welcoming activities organised by their respective Faculties. This series of activities features the introduction of each programme and major, recommended study pathways, career opportunities, and other forms of team-building activities, minigames and performances. All of these gave our new Yersiners a chance to learn more about their study fields, meet their lecturers and know more about YersinUni
This excitement was further fueled in the afternoon with the Golden Bell Challenge, a learning opportunity where students could put their knowledge to the test, quick thinking and team spirit to the test.
This was followed by the official introduction of the 18 Clubs, Teams and Groups within YersinUni’s Student Association. Each club welcomed new Yersiners in their own unique ways, sparking their interest and curiosity. By the end of the event, some freshmen had already found a club to call their own to learn, grow and make the most of the time at university.
When the night arrived, new Yersiners immersed themselves in the energetic atmosphere of the Freshman Welcome Night, where students came together for a vibrant celebration of music and the arts. Each performance, lovingly practised by YersinUni lecturers and students, and musical performances created a night filled with emotion and high energy, bringing new Yersiners closer together in the youthful and dynamic spirit of the Yersiner community. The full-day celebration came to an end on the energetic beats of an electric DJ performance. Cohort 23 freshmen danced, connected and shared their first unforgettable moments together.
“Yersin Welcome Day 2026” was warmly supported by Oishi, Jolibee, Mirinda, FPT, Viettel and more. Through hands-on activities, interactive experience and complimentary refreshments, these booths added even more colour, energy and youthful spirit to the day.
“Yersin Welcome Day 2026” was more than just a welcoming celebration. This event was a window for new friendships and new experiences, fueling more energy for freshmen on their journey ahead.
💙 Welcome, Cohort 23! You will tread confidently, embrace every moment to the fullest, and write unforgettable stories together here at YersinUni!
