In the context of deepening international integration, Yersin University of Da Lat continues to expand its cooperative partnerships to bring more learning opportunities to students.
As part of this effort, the university recently welcomed two students from Houaphanh Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, under a strong cooperation agreement between Lam Dong Province (Viet Nam) and Houaphanh Province (Laos). YersinUni awarded full scholarships to the students, who will pursue a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the university.
Dr. Lo Van Xanh, lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy and a representative of the students’ families, shared remarks during the welcoming ceremony.
While studying at YersinUni, the two Laotian students will receive:
- Full scholarships
- Free accommodation at the Da Lat City Student Dormitory
- Part-time job opportunities for additional income
- Vietnamese language classes to build communication skills and support their academic journey
In addition, the university will collaborate with the Viet–Lao Friendship Association in Lam Dong to offer cultural exchange opportunities and further support for language learning and integration.
Dr. Pham Dinh Trung, Rector of the university, presented gifts to the two students on behalf of YersinUni.
